Weigh In and We Want to Know Wednesday

First things first, I had weigh in #2 this morning and lost 1.8 lbs.  I am not pleased with that small loss as it only brings me to a toal of 4.8 in 2 weeks.  My goal of 10 lbs in 4 weeks is looking harder.  As I rambled blogged about yesterday, Jenny Craig is a HUGE investment unless you are say Warren Buffet or even Jimmy Buffet.  I need to justify this investment by losing weight.  Is a 1 lb loss per week really worth $150.00 in JC food (in addition to my regular grocery bill) and the astronomical fee to join at the end of the 4 week trial?  Decisions decisions.  I've been reading other blogs and the gals on Weight Watchers seem to be kicking weight loss butt.  Maybe I'll try that next before actually joining JC.  Anyone have any thoughts on this?

On to We Want to Know Wednesday...

This week's questions are from your's truly, Mamarazzi .  Check out her blog-good stuff!

{1} If you could spend a day with a blogger, who you haven't met in real life, who would you choose?  Carbie Girl, Drazil, Laura Belle and Chubby McGee because they make me laugh and KateRN because she is my Jenny Craig buddy.
{2} What website do you check first when you go online?  After my email it's Facebook
{3} What is something you are saving money for right now?  Jenny Craig
{4} What is your go to silly face when a silly face is needed? Something like this:

{5} How do you relieve stress?  BLTC (Better Living Through Chemistry) I take my happy pills.

Don't forget to leave your link in my comments so I can read your answers.

I'd love to spend a day with you!! <3

I know JC is expensive. I've started buying my own breakfast cereal (SpecialK!) and doing that 3x a week. Also doing more MOMOs.

With WW I did it for years on and off and I just never lost any serious weight. Because of the points, you could literally have a day where you just drink beer or spend all your points on eating a pizza. It didn't work for me, but who knows! A lot of people have success on it!!! It is a great program!

BLTC!!! I love it!!!

I just use sparkpeople.com
It's free and I can track my food and make friends.

Happy Wednesday. :O)

I know you aren't happy with it, but congrats on the 1.8lb loss. It's something! I did WW once and did well but I'm doing it on my own this time. Good luck!

A loss is a loss, don't get discouraged! Honestly, I don't understand any of the meal replacement programs. Maybe you can just buy lean cuisines, etc. at the store and save $$? But I haven't a clue how the rest of that business goes.

You got this!

I believe there is something that works for everyone. If we were all designed the same way, we wouldn't need all these different weightloss plans. We could all use the same one. However, that is not how it works. I was on WW, and even tried Atkins and LA Weightloss. Those were not good for me. JC has been the best thing for ME. That's not to say that JC is the answer for you. You don't need to join JC if you are feeling the way you do. A loss is a loss and you should be happy, but you obviously aren't happy. I think you should try something else for committing to JC, because it IS an investment. Good luck!

First, I think 1.8 is fantastic! You could be like me and lose .2 lbs a week. (Not frustrating at all.)

BUT: you have to find what's right for you. If you don't have the money...you don't have the money. Try WW, see if that works. Try a food journal and keeping everything below a certain calorie number. Try eliminating eating high fat foods.

Unfortunately, I've spent 3 years trying everything under the sun and have found that I need to workout at least 5 days a week for an hour each day and eat nothing by veggies and protein. It sucks blue monkey balls. But...it works and it's healthy.

SECOND: I would so so SO be happy to hang with you too!!!! (Maybe some day!)

Lol, happy pills. Love it! I also love that Disney Princesses cartoon. That's adorable.

Ha, I would absolutely spend a day with you because you would laugh at my jokes ;) Though imagine a day with all of us on your list.. if laughter seriously burns calories I say we all get together ;) I'd lean more towards weight watchers personally. If i had the money I'd rather do that than JC.. I think thats mostly because Im sure I would become too dependent on JC food -- and i know its so darn pricey!!

Don't be discouraged that you have lost "only" that amount.( And that is alot anyway!)Any loss is GREAT!
I vote for weight watchers!!! SUch SUCCESS people are having on ww! And it is affordable with real food.
THANK YOU so much for your email tonight! That meant so much to me!
UGH! I don't know why the comment issue is still going on!
Have a pretty day!

I used to use SParkpeople but switched to My Fitness Pal becuz it is easier and faster to use. I have had a lot of success with it. I have tried WW but it didn't really click for me. I am trying to learn how to eat healthy and exercise regularly.

OOO Where in kc are you? I loved WW I just hate counting everything but now they have phone apps that make it eaiser!

I've always wondered about JC and the cost of it because I'd love to be able to do something like that (it'd be easier for me and I feel like it would rein me in when I want to eat something that's not so healthy). I'm sorry to hear it's not having the impact you wanted :(, but I will say this: it is working. You are losing. That's a plus! I obviously need a new plan (like starvation - LOL!) since I'm not losing. You're lucky you've got the numbers going DOWN instead of playing some kind of suspenseful orchestral score going on: up, down, up, down. LOL!

As for this weight loss business...man...it can take a while. Just savor your losses (even the ones you find as small) because they all do add up in the end. ;)

Don't be discouraged by any kind of a loss! 4.8 pounds in two weeks IS really good. It's good pace to lose at and KEEP it off. Remember if you lose it fast, it can come back just as fast.

I would imagine JC to be very expensive, I'm surprised you have to buy their food and still have a grocery bill, I wouldn't like that. I've done WW, it's not for me, but a lot of people have great success with it. TOPS (tops.org) is a wonderful organization for weight loss, but they don't really stress a specific plan and if you're kind of lost as to what to do for weight loss they might not be your best route, but just something else to look into. :)

It'll take a little bit to find something that works for you, but you'll get there!
